Winds of change are blowing.....

I woke up very early this morning to the wind rattling my windows and my teeth. I have installed weather stripping around my windows and doors but this morning my window coverings were flapping from the strength of the wind howling outside.

I know that I have blogged about the wind before and I realize that the wind is Mother Nature's way of cleaning house but the wind drives me crazy at times. I keep telling myself that wind is good and there is a benefit to having the wind blow so much such as no smog.

The 'winds of change' are blowing in my personal life. I can feel my life shaken up a bit as the old is blown away and the new dawn blows in. I can't discuss what these changes will be but the changes aren't all bad. I have come to the conclusion that I can complain about the changes or I can embrace them; I choose the latter.

Have a great and prosperous week, everyone!
Jo

Change is a natural revolving thing in our lives as we learn and grow! I can't say I miss that Wyoming wind! All the wind farms are cool and productive though, a new green (old in fact) source of energy!

Change is good. Sometimes we do not think so but it always is. Change helps us grow and helps us get stronger. If we did not have change then we would always be the same. Wind of change helps us stand firm and it tests our strength and our foundation. You are a strong woman and I love you!!

you know some times the wind blows outside and some times the wind blows in my brain...it is always a good think when I shift the stuff inside my brain by a good rattle...it clears me up to look onward to positive and good stuff...

Good morning Jo! I wanted to come by this morning and catch up with you. I have enjoyed sitting here and reading.
So the "winds of change" are hovering around you? Thank you for sharing your feelings on it and teeter-totter of recognizing there is a choice to be made in how to handle it all. That is good for me to remember. Sometimes it is all too easy to dig my heels in and resist change. But all that really does is make big rutts in the ground and sore feet.

Your post about the beans was so moving. My goodness how much you have endured in your life.I am so grateful you found the courage to leave. I can only imagine how hard it all was.
And now you enjoy beans! ;-) Me too. Sometime I get a good craving for navy beans and ham. My dad was born and raised in the back woods of Louisiana so I can remember being little and having a huge pot of black eyed peas for New Years.

Great post, Jo. Love you! Maybe the winds of change will make it out here to TN and change my blog? LOL Just kidding...I hope to have some time this weekend to concoct a scintillating post (or figure out how to get the pics from my camera to my PC).

did you know that palm trees have deep deep roots to give them a strong foundation. They are tall and flexable to move in the wind. Just like you! I love you! Hope all is well and the winds have calmed down a bit over there!!
