Springtime in the Rockies...

Today it is 52 degrees, the wind is calm, the sky is blue and the birds are singing.
Tomorrow it is supposed to snow with accumulations up to 7 inches.

I am so ready for summer.

Seriously...is that current snow? Oh my I am sorry.

I am glad though that you have been having fun with all of the birthday parties. Having everyone over for cake and ice cream for Gary's day looked like a ton of fun. I love doing things like that. Everyone gets to sit and visit, play around, the stories fly through the air. Perfect.

And little Brooklyn was so cute with her cake. Winney the Pooh is my favorite too.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

Hi Jo, that's a lovely image.

In reply to your question: ``I would like to print one of the town hall photos so I can paint a picture of it, if that is okay with you?'' - yes, of course that's fine with me.

    I am SO honoured!

    Jo,
A little birdie told me you were going to paint a picture. (I read David's comment) Oh! Yes... get into the paints!

You have grandeuer, huge skies, mountains and canyons, deserts and tropics and tornadoes and cyclones and drought and we have gentle spring, warm summer, colourful autumn and bearable winter. Our roads close for two inches of snow and we think we are hard done by if it doesn't rain for a week.
And declare ourselves the Stoic Brits.

In the summer we make lemonade out of lemons. I guess the new thing in spring is to make snowmen out of snow. You'll be drinking lemonade before you know it. :-)
