Retired but not out of service....
I painted this from a a photo that Dick E. took; he gave me permission to paint it. Thanks Dick!
I am giving this to Glenn, Gary's father for Christmas. Glenn is 85, retired and still enjoying life.
The blue strip at the top of the painting is actually the shadow from the frame. :o)
Now I only have 7 more projects to finish in the next 11 days!

Retired with a lot of character. (smile) Great job on the painting. Your brush strokes create nice "worn paint" and metal textures. The front with the headlights and curved bumper look a bit like a smiling face. I like the rustic wood frame too.

Thanks Ellie and Dar! It was a fun painting to do. After the holidays, I am going to do some more painting.

thanks for the comment on my blog, Jo. This is a pretty cool painting. Nice job. You need to get into the painting-a-day mode.

Jo, as you know, I am really fond of this painting. The subject is close to my heart and your technique is quite impressive. Glenn must have been thrilled to receive this!
