I am deeply humbled....
When I started blogging, I wrote to help myself work through my pain, emotional, physical and spiritual. My life path hadn't been going very well and I was fighting depression. I found that taking a positive attitude towards my pain and tribulations helped me become strong so I could drudge through the muck and mire instead of sinking in it. I knew my family and friends would read my blogs but I had no idea how widespread my words would travel.
I have met many wonderful people in Blogland and have become friends with a lot of them. Blogging has helped me in so many ways and the benefits have surpassed my expectations.
This morning, my friend San, gave me this award. Greatfullivin created this award and gave it to San. San's writeup about my blog brought tears to my eyes. Thank you San for recognizing me and thank you for your friendship! You are an inspiration to me.
I guess I am supposed to pass this on to 12 others. I have decided to let the first 12 people who visit this blog get the award and post it on their own blog.
Celebrate life with me! Have a great weekend, everyone!
Jo

Jo glad to be first (I think, unless someone is typing faster than me, then I will be second). Congratulations, just stopped by through San's blog, but I already know you, lol. However, glad that blogging helped you, I feel the same, however, I did not have any major challanges in life, but it helped me to relax more and open up to people more. Congrats again, Anna :)

WOO HOO!
I love what you wrote in this post, Jo. And I love that Anna will be getting the award, and Ellie, and Rubye Jean. All of them--most deserving.

I came over from San's (whose blog I read religiously!) and I am delighted for you that you got this award from her. I suppose I ought to take one as I am 8th here, but I will hold on it until you are back from Utah. You see, I have not visited you before, and I feel a fraud to just take it. You need to see my blog first - really you do. I only started blogging a couple of months ago and whilst I hope I certainly have "gratitude with attitude", I think there are far more deserving people who visit you. Anyway, if I was "meant" to have this award today, it would have come via San's drunken twizzle to choose her 12!! lol
So, I'll post my congrats on your grandchild's birth, wish you a comfortable journey and blessings galore for the courage and strength you show. You are an inspiration.

Several hours later I have got through all the blogs San has awarded. Wow! You are all fantastic people!
Anyway, another person did as you have re the award - "the first n to visit pick it up..." and I fell into the category there too, so I have picked it up after all, and thank you humbly.

Hello Jo and congratulations on your new granddaughter. I also came to visit you through San...thank you, San...and am so glad I did.
Like CrazyCath, I would love to have this award, but it doesn't seem right since I have only come here for the first time today. I will check back with you later.
What a lovely blog from a lovely person. I will return to visit again.
Do take your beautiful time with your new granddaughter and your other two miracles in Utah!
Blessings to you!
