Happy Valentines Day!
I like Valentines Day; it is one of my favorite holidays. History tells us that it was a pagan holiday and blah, blah, blah ... but for me it is a special time to express our love and appreciation to our friends and family. Even though I don't have a special "sweetie" this year, I know he is out there somewhere and maybe by this time next year, he will have appeared in my life. (You know me, the eternal optimist.)
Happy Valentines Day to all of my blogger family and friends!
Jo

Love you Aunt JoJo! Happy Valentine's Day!
P.S. Don't believe them about the pagan holiday thing... St. Valentine was engaged and had a bright future when Christianity became illegal in Rome. When he wouldn't recant his faith, they arrested him. In jail, awaiting execution, he wrote beautiful love letters to his fiance. He was martyred, and we honor him by celebrating this day every year.

You know how you should be careful what you wish for? Well, this morning I received a giant beautiful bouquet of flowers for Valentines Day! I guess I do have a sweetie after all; his name is Mike and he is from Lander. :o)

Happy Valentine's Day Jo-Jo.
It's my favorite holiday other than Halloween.
Yesterday it rained all day long. Flooded the roads to huge puddles and careless drivers. Today its very sunny bright.
