Collections or Memories?
Here are more pictures from Tonie's home. Tonie has a knack for taking ordinary objects, displaying them together and making them into a showcase. I love going to visit her and spotting new collections. Most of her collections are objects she has accumulated over the years and are memories of people and places and family.
The fishing lures and poles were from Ray's father and grandfather. I am not sure about the mitts but I bet they saw a lot of fun games!
I am glad that I didn't have to ever use these objects for cleaning!
Teapot collection.
This collection of memories are not mine but they have a special place in my memory bank!

I'm glad I don't have to use those objects for cleaning either, but they sure look prettier than my Kenmore W&D, Hoover vacuum, and Target toilet brush.
Then again, what if future generations want to hang my toilet brush on the wall?

Now that's a home with character. And teapots were VERY important to my Dad, who started his day with a pot of Darjeeling tea.

San: It's easier to hang those things than it would be to hang a Hoover and eweeee to the toilet brush! lol
A. Banana: She's coming to see me in February to redo my house. I am excited.
Velvet: I love how she takes my stuff and makes a masterpiece out of it!
David: We are all anxious to hear what Darjeeling tea is? Please inform us Yanks! lol Yes, it is an Iowa Hog liquor decanter. Ray and Tonie got it for their first anniversary from Ray's folks over 30 years ago. They found it when they remodeled their kitchen! LOL
